Privacy Policy

For the Eye Gymnastics mobile app (com.fazogirapps.eyegym) on iOS and Android.
Effective Date: August 15, 2026 · Last Updated: September 17, 2026

Summary — the short version

1. Introduction

Eye Gymnastics ("App", "we", "our", "us") is developed and operated by Fazogirapps. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, why, who else is involved, and what choices you have.

By downloading, installing, or using the App you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. No Account, No Personal Identity

The App has no registration and no sign-in. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, date of birth, location, contacts, calendar, photos, camera images, health records, or advertising identifiers.

Because there is nothing identifying you, we cannot connect App usage to you as a person.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

Everything the App remembers about your practice is written to a local database on your device and never leaves it, unless your own device backup (iCloud or Google backup) includes it. That data is:

We have no server that receives this data and no way to read it remotely.

iCloud copy (iOS only). If you are signed in to iCloud, the App keeps one copy of the data above in your own iCloud storage, so that deleting and reinstalling the App does not lose your practice history. Android does not need this: the system already restores app data on reinstall. The copy lives in your Apple account, not on any server of ours, and we cannot read it. It is offered back to you only on a fresh install with no history of its own, and only if you choose to restore it. Turning iCloud Drive off for Eye Gymnastics in your device settings stops it. The premium flag is deliberately excluded from this copy — unlocking is restored through your App Store account, not from a file.

4. Information Collected Automatically

The App uses Google Firebase for diagnostics and aggregate statistics. Apart from this, the purchase information described in section 5, and the iCloud copy described in section 3, nothing leaves your device.

DataCollected byWhy it is needed
Crash reports: stack traces, app version, device model, operating system version, device state at the moment of the crash Firebase Crashlytics To find and fix crashes.
Usage events, each carrying only the parameters listed here:
  • exercise_started, exercise_completed — the exercise identifier and, on completion, how many seconds it lasted
  • onboarding_step — which step of the opening questionnaire was reached, as a number and a short name (for example 3, solution); no answer you gave is included
  • onboarding_completed — no parameters
  • paywall_viewed — which screen the paywall was opened from
  • paywall_package_selected — whether the weekly or annual plan was selected
  • trial_started, subscription_started — the identifier of the purchased package
  • subscription_restored — no parameters
  • streak_milestone — the streak length reached
  • badge_unlocked — the achievement identifier
  • reminder_scheduled — how many daily reminders are set
  • timer_2020_started — the length of the break-timer session in minutes
  • review_requested — no parameters
plus the automatic events Firebase records such as first open, session start, and app update
Firebase Analytics To understand which exercises are actually used and where people get stuck, in aggregate. None of these events carry a name, an email address, or any other identifier you supply, because the App never asks for one.
A randomly generated app instance identifier, device model, operating system version, coarse country or region derived from the IP address, and language Firebase Analytics To group events into sessions and produce aggregate statistics. The identifier is reset when you delete the App.
Subscription status and purchase receipt RevenueCat To unlock premium features and restore purchases. See section 5.
Device time zone Stays on the device To fire your practice reminders at the right local hour.

These events do not contain the content of your practice history, and we do not attempt to re-identify anyone from them.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Every exercise in the App is free. Eye Gymnastics offers an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks features built around the exercises, currently your full practice history and statistics, the guided programs, routines you build yourself, the complete achievement set, and unlimited daily reminders. The 20-20-20 screen-break timer is free. See section 9 of the Terms of Use for the current list.

We never see or handle your card details. Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat, Inc. to verify purchases and tell the App whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives a random app user identifier it generates itself, the purchase receipt issued by the store, and basic device and country information.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

8. Data Retention

9. Your Rights and Choices

10. GDPR — European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, Fazogirapps is the controller for the limited data described in section 4. Our legal bases are:

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Contact fazogirapps@gmail.com.

13. International Data Transfers

Google and RevenueCat may process the diagnostic and subscription data described above in the United States and other countries. Such transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism offered by those providers.

14. Security

All network traffic is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Your practice data never leaves the device, which removes the largest category of risk entirely. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy. The "Last Updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. For material changes we will give notice in the App. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
