ClearWave — Speaker Cleaner (com.clearwavesc.app)
Effective Date: August 9, 2026  ·  Last Updated: August 11, 2026

Summary — the short version

This summary is provided for convenience. The full policy below is what governs.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Fazogirapps ("we", "our", or "us") handles information in connection with the mobile application ClearWave — Speaker Cleaner (the "App"), available on Apple's App Store and Google Play.

ClearWave plays specially designed sound frequencies intended to help dislodge dust, water, and debris from your device's speaker, earpiece, and microphone openings. The App is designed to work without collecting personal information about you.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

To be explicit, ClearWave does not collect, request, or process any of the following:

A note on the microphone declaration. If you inspect the app, you will find that it declares a microphone usage description. Apple requires that declaration whenever any code inside the app bundle references audio-input APIs — and the third-party audio engine ClearWave uses for sound playback includes such references, even though ClearWave never calls them.

In practice this means iOS will never ask you for microphone permission, because the App never requests it. No audio is ever recorded, analysed, or transmitted.

3. Information Collected Automatically

3.1 Usage and device analytics

The App uses Google Firebase Analytics (provided by Google LLC) to help us understand how ClearWave is used so we can improve it. This data is pseudonymous — it is tied to a randomly generated app instance identifier, not to your name or any account.

Firebase Analytics automatically collects:

3.2 In-app events we record

In addition to the automatic data above, we log the following specific events. None of them contain personal information:

EventWhat it recordsWhy
App openedThat a session startedTo measure overall usage
Cleaning startedWhich cleaning mode was selected (e.g. speaker, earpiece, microphone, deep clean, custom) and its settingsTo learn which modes are most useful
Language changedThe language code selected (en, ru, uz)To prioritise translation work
Tip sheet shownThat the optional support dialog was displayedTo avoid showing it too often
Tip option tappedWhich tip amount was tappedTo understand which options are relevant
Tip dismissedThat the dialog was closed without a tipTo reduce how frequently it appears

We use these events only in aggregate. We cannot use them to identify you.

3.3 Data stored only on your device

The following is saved locally on your device using standard system storage and is never transmitted to us:

This data is removed when you uninstall the App.

4. How We Use Information

We use the limited information described above solely to:

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or credit or eligibility scoring. We do not sell your information.

5. Tips and In-App Purchases

ClearWave is free to use. The App offers an entirely optional way to support development through small one-time tips (for example US$1, $2, $5, or $10). Tips are voluntary, unlock no features, and are never required.

All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own terms and privacy policies. We never receive or store:

We receive only anonymised, aggregated sales reports from Apple and Google — for example, the number of transactions and total amounts by country. These reports do not identify individual purchasers.

The App also uses the system-provided review prompt (Apple's SKStoreReviewController and Google Play's In-App Review). Any rating or review you leave is handled entirely by Apple or Google, not by us.

6. Third-Party Services

Google Play & Play Billing Google LLC App distribution and tip payments (Android) policies.google.com/privacy

We do not integrate advertising networks, social media SDKs, or data brokers.

7. Data Retention and Security

Analytics events are retained by Google Firebase according to our configured retention period, after which they are automatically deleted. Aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be kept indefinitely.

Data transmitted between the App and Firebase is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS. Because we do not operate our own servers and do not collect personal identifiers, the risk associated with the data we handle is inherently limited. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

8.1 Opting out of analytics

You can limit or prevent analytics collection at any time:

8.2 Deleting your data

Because we hold no account and no personal identifiers, there is no personal profile for us to delete. To remove all locally stored data, uninstall the App. To request deletion of analytics data associated with your device's app instance ID, email us at fazogirapps@gmail.com and we will action it within 30 days where technically feasible.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Note for parents and guardians: ClearWave produces loud sound as part of its normal operation. It should not be used by young children without adult supervision. Please see the safety notice in our Terms of Use.

12. International Data Transfers

Google processes Firebase Analytics data on servers that may be located in the United States and other countries. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, Google relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and other approved safeguards. Details are available in Google's privacy documentation linked in Section 6.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our practices, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice within the App or on the store listing.
